Payment of the application fee may be made by postal money order, certified cheque or cash. However, to request permission to make a cash payment, which must be made in person, please address your request by e-mail
to info @ cetm.ca without delay, prior to submitting your application.

Please note CETM reserves the right to refuse to accept personal cheques and refunds will NOT be issued for application fees under any circumstances. The CETM and its agents cannot be held responsible for lost or incomplete applications. It is the contestant’s sole responsibility to ensure her/his dossier is complete and on time.

1.  Prepare a solo performance piece from the musical theatre repertoire. Max length - 4 minutes. Spoken word may make up a portion of the performance.

2.  Send head shot, resumé, completed application form (click here and print), and $40 application fee to:

3.  Applications must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2012.

4.  Be prepared to audition in  March in front of a preliminary judging panel. Have your own sheet music ready in the proper key. Use the accompanist provided by Le Spotlight or bring your own. No karaoke tapes/CDs or a cappella singing are allowed at the auditions.

5.  Points will be awared for singing ability, dramatic interpretation, movement skills, diction, stage presence, overall credibility as a “triple threat” (sing/dance/act), appropriateness of song choice, personal style and suitability of dress.
